Decision: Thriller

The first genre researched was thriller. These movies always seem to keep the attention of viewers, so it seemed like a good option. These movies have become more and more popular over the last few years as well, which is another reason to use this genre.  The only issue with this genre was the difficulty in starting the title sequence. Other than this, the thriller genre seemed like a good fit for the group.  The second genre researched was action. This seemed like another great option because of the constant interest it draws. Everyone seemed a bit more interested in this genre because there were more ideas that came from it. There are more of the group's favorite movies from this genre than any other genre. This genre seemed like a better fit than the thriller genre but there was still more research to be done.  The final genre researched was comedy. This was a last resort option in case the other two didn’t work out. Comedy movies are something everyone enjoys watching but the

Pitch Blog: Brainstorming

Pitch ideas 1. A clue to a mysterious string of serial killer murders is unveiled to the two detectives on the case. Little did they know that the clue would actually reveal the murderer to be one of them. This film would be a crime/thriller genre. It would be reminiscent of older police/mafia movies and would focus on an ominous mood. We would need a car, a forest, and props such as police tape and suits. A pro is that it doesn’t require that many actors while a con is that filming while driving can be dangerous. (The clue is the killer was wearing a snake ring. The detective sees the ring on their partner on the way to the woods where the killer/detective tries to kill them. One dies and one) 2. Unwary to his friends' superstitions about whistling outside at night, Nick invites an ancient spirit known for making people disappear. This would be a suspenseful horror short film. We would need an empty house to film at night, an empty field, as well as strobe lighting effects. It wo

As a group Me, Zane Royer, and Zeyn El-Ali have all decided that it would be a good idea to become a group. we decided this because of our chemistry together and friendship. We are all academically smart and have a great sense of moderation. With these skills we are able to produce great and entertaining pieces of film. Our chemistry helps us by bringing us close with each other. We all live in the same general area which helps us get to each when needed. We all are not on a tight schedule therefore making room for projects when needed. We all have some background of acting as Zeyn played in a Willy Wonka Factory play when they were in middle school. Zane has a lot of camera experience when it comes to cinema photography and pictures. And I have great editing skills with pictures such as photoshop and editing videos with adobe after effects. We like to stick to a schedule and follow through with it. We despise procrastinating so we will always get our work in on time. We all own some

My name is Jason Alexandrescu. I am in 11th grade and currently attending Fort Lauderdale Highschool. In my free time I enjoy going on drives and listening to music. My current favorite song is "Woke Up" by Gunna on Spotify.  As of today my favorite hobby are cars. I also go to the gym from Monday through Friday and have my rest days on Saturday and Sunday. I enjoy hanging out with my friends on the weekends. Our regular hangout spot is at the Hollywood beach boardwalk or Dania Pointe. We usually go get a tan on the sand and go splash around in the water. We than grab lunch and relax a bit while eating. After we eat we rent bikes for usually 2 hours and we blast music on our speaker and just have a good time. After our beach day we go out for dinner and have a good laugh at the table. If the beach is empty we choose to go to Dania Pointe and just mess around. That is just one of my regular Saturdays, other Saturdays I usually go to LA fitness with one of my close friends. Af
