I hope you enjoy my project. I had such an amazing time filming, editing, and bringing this film to life. I would definitely do this again. Definitely a new experience with a lot of twists and turns. This was truly an amazing experience that i will definitely re-visit.

Final Task: Final Dream

Image
After multiple days of planning, filming, and editing our opening sequence is officially done. We were so  satisfied with the way the film came-out. It fit perfectly with how we imagined it to be. There were some instances that we could have improved on but, overall the film came out very well. It was an amazing experience to film such a project and we hope you enjoy watching it as much as we enjoyed filming it!

Production Blog: Editing Day

Today was the day we were going to finalize our film. We woke up at 10 a.m. and we all texted each other in the group chat. I first ate breakfast and walked my dog. Then I let everyone in the group chat know that they can start heading towards my house. First to arrive to my house was Sam. This is because he biked to my house as Zeyn and Jhon were still trying to find a ride. Eventually they both made it and we began to setup the editing area. I brought a bunch of chairs and snacks for us to eat while editing. We then started editing by slinging all the clips onto the computer. Once we finished that we began to convert all the clips to CapCut editing software. We then started to edit and used a lot of the ideas we brainstormed the other day. We finished editing the final product in about 3 hours. It was not easy but we are very happy with the results. We then rendered the finished product to save it to the computer. Once the film was saved to the computer I sent it to all of our phone

Production Blog: A Flooded Day

Today we planned on getting together to start editing our film. However when waking up I noticed that it was pouring rain again. I immediately texted the group chat letting them know of the inconvenience. They all texted back saying that it was going to rain all day with 100% chance of rain. We decided on a new date that works for all of us. We decided to edit at my house as I downloaded the app on my computer. There was no possible way to get together to edit today. The streets and sidewalks were flooded. There was no way to ride our bikes and no one had a car available. It was going to be like this all day so we decided to just stay indoors. We discussed some possibilities for editing our film. We were all brainstorming in the group chat. This ended up being good because we were able to think of a couple ideas for our film. I noted down all the approved ideas. After which I had lunch. We decided to FaceTime to show each other references of possible editing ideas. This helped tremend

Production Blog: Time to Film!

Today was the day we officially filmed. I got up and texted everyone in the group chat making sure everyone was awake and ready. To my surprise everyone was awake and looking forward to filming. I ate breakfast and texted Zeyn, Jhon, Sam, and Andreas to start heading towards my house. Andreas arrived and helped me pack all the equipment from my garage into his car. We than went inside and grabbed all the food, snacks, and drinks. We than waited for Zeyn, Jhon, and Sam to arrive. They shortly all arrived at the same time. We arrived at the field and met up with all of our actors. We setup all the food available for everyone to eat. After we finished eating we had Zeyn and Jhon work with the accessories for everyone. Meanwhile Sam and I were working on setting up the filming area. Once we got the film area ready we went over to help Zeyn and Jhon finish up the accessory. Once we were all setup we began recording different takes. We tried out many different angles and took many different

Production Blog: A Rainy Day

Today when we woke up we noticed it was pouring rain. First thing I did was check the weather app. Not surprised by what I saw it was said to rain all day. I took a screenshot of the weather app and sent it into the group chat. Everyone replies saying that it was not a good day to do anything as there was so much rain. In a rainy day like it was, it was perfect to work on any of the electronic parts of the filming. For instance the editing portion of the filming. As of now my computer was messed up and not working properly. I used this as a perfect day to fix it. We planned on using my computer to edit this film as it previously had CapCut video editor already downloaded. I started off by eating breakfast and doing my chores. Once all of that was out of the way I booted up my computer. I looked online and through manuals for a fix to the problem and found the solution. Once the problem was fixed I noticed that my CapCut editor was no longer downloaded. As I started redownloading the e
