Production Blog: A Rainy Day
Today when we woke up we noticed it was pouring rain. First thing I did was check the weather app. Not surprised by what I saw it was said to rain all day. I took a screenshot of the weather app and sent it into the group chat. Everyone replies saying that it was not a good day to do anything as there was so much rain. In a rainy day like it was, it was perfect to work on any of the electronic parts of the filming. For instance the editing portion of the filming. As of now my computer was messed up and not working properly. I used this as a perfect day to fix it. We planned on using my computer to edit this film as it previously had CapCut video editor already downloaded. I started off by eating breakfast and doing my chores. Once all of that was out of the way I booted up my computer. I looked online and through manuals for a fix to the problem and found the solution. Once the problem was fixed I noticed that my CapCut editor was no longer downloaded. As I started redownloading the editor; halfway through my power went out due to the thunderstorm. So I had to restart the downloading process. Once it downloaded I set it up and got all the preferences in the settings the same as last time. I texted the group chat letting everyone know the issue was fixed. Everyone was grateful and looking forward to editing our masterpiece. It was still pouring outside by the time I finished so I stayed inside the rest of the day. Overall was a somewhat productive day even though I was stuck inside all day.
