Production Blog: A Flooded Day

Today we planned on getting together to start editing our film. However when waking up I noticed that it was pouring rain again. I immediately texted the group chat letting them know of the inconvenience. They all texted back saying that it was going to rain all day with 100% chance of rain. We decided on a new date that works for all of us. We decided to edit at my house as I downloaded the app on my computer. There was no possible way to get together to edit today. The streets and sidewalks were flooded. There was no way to ride our bikes and no one had a car available. It was going to be like this all day so we decided to just stay indoors. We discussed some possibilities for editing our film. We were all brainstorming in the group chat. This ended up being good because we were able to think of a couple ideas for our film. I noted down all the approved ideas. After which I had lunch. We decided to FaceTime to show each other references of possible editing ideas. This helped tremendously as I got a grasp of what everyone was talking about. With this I was able to make sure everyone gets at least one of their ideas implemented into the editing of our film. We all contributed a vast amount of ideas towards the pre-editing process. An unproductive day became semi productive which is nice. Overall it was a very wet dark day but we were able to stay productive and accomplish something towards our goal.
