Production Blog Time to Edit
The weekend after we recorded we all met up on Saturday. We met up together at Sam's house and projected his phone to the computer so we can all see what is going on at his phone. We pull up the editing software and start rendering in the video clips. Once the video clips render we begin to re watch them scenic order to make sure they are right. Once we get them into correct order we begin to trim the clips to our liking. After trimming we start to mess around with different saturations to give a more tropical vibe. We than add in all of the texts needed for the commercial. After which we add all the transitions such as black fades, white fades, and top down right fades. After adding the fades we connect the clips. Once everything is put into place we watch the whole thing over again. We fixed any mistakes or made improvements that we saw were available. After which we got our finished product. We than rendered the commercial and saved to Sam’s iPhone. Sam than sent all of us the video through iMessage for better quality. The video was rendered at 4K and 60 fps. We than each got the video on our own devices. After which we all made sure that we all got the same video (the one that was properly rendered). Once we made sure we all got the same video we double checked to make to sure that the video was in good quality and was visible properly. The editing all together took roughly 3 hours to fully finish. However the rendering of the video was only 20 minutes long to get to each of our own devices.
