Production Blog: Rest Day

 We noticed that today was going to be an unproductive day. We realized that all of us were busy. I was helping renovate the house. I had to work on the house the whole day from morning to afternoon. Sam had family over from North Carolina. He agreed that it would be best to not do anything today as it would be rude on his part to leave the guests. Zeyn was hanging out with family as both his sisters came down for spring break from college. He was available for recording but since no one was able to record he ended up hanging out with his family. And lastly Jhon was busy with an extended shift at work. There was no way for Jhon to be available as he would have to call out of work which would be his 4th time this month. Overall we all agreed that it would make most sense to just not record. We also decided this as some of our background actors were busy as well. We used today as a day to plan the film date. We realized that we need a set film date so that way everyone is aware and shows up. We can’t have people not show for any reason. For this reason I called up a few of my friends and let them know about the film. They agreed to help and be backups if anyone is missing. They also said that they are willing to help with setting all the props up. We will need some help with designing the jerseys for each team. Overall it was a slow and sluggish day.

Production Blog: Preparing

 We haven't filmed for our project yet for several reasons. Firstly, scheduling conflicts among group members have made it challenging to find a time when everyone is available. Secondly, we've been grappling with selecting the perfect location that aligns with our vision and is logistically feasible. Thirdly, we've encountered technical difficulties with our equipment, which have delayed our filming plans. Additionally, we've been refining our script and storyboard to ensure that our narrative is cohesive and compelling. Moreover, we've been conducting extensive research to accurately portray the themes and concepts we want to explore in our project. Production Blog: Catch Up Day

 So, you know how our project was shaping up to be pretty awesome, right? Well, we hit a snag last week. We were super pumped about filming, but then reality hit hard. Homework piled up like crazy, and we realized we were drowning in assignments. Everyone in our group was struggling to keep up with the workload. We knew we had to buckle down and get it done. We tried juggling both homework and filming, but it was just too much. We needed a day to focus solely on catching up. It sucked because we were all eager to get filming, but we knew our grades were important too. Plus, we didn't want to rush through the project and have it turn out subpar. So, we made the tough call to postpone filming for a day. It was a bummer, but ultimately, it was the right decision. Once we cleared our homework backlog, we were able to dive back into filming with renewed energy and focus. And you know what? Taking that extra day paid off big time. Our project turned out even better than we hoped.
