Production Blog: Rainy Day
Today I woke up and the first thing I hear is rain hitting my window. I decide to text the group as we planned to film today. Everyone responded saying how it was so unexpected as we checked the day before for the proper weather. We all agreed to wait to see if the rain would go away before sundown. It did not, we had waited the whole day in the hose waiting for the rain to go away and it did not. The rain would stop for 20 minutes then continue to comeback. We decided that it would be best if we just film another day. So we decided to film tomorrow as we are all free. Everyone was pretty upset as we were looking forward to starting our film. However we did not let this get the best of us. We decided to do more planning and find more props throughout our house. We also decided that for any filming we would use Zane's car. We chose his as it looks the most professional. He drives a 2016 Ford Sport which is a car that cops are known to use. This is perfect as in the film we are setup as detectives. We also planned on a new time to arrive to Zane's house as we are set to film in his house and neighborhood. We decided on his house as it has a lot of space to film and an empty neighborhood to film in. This will help a lot as we need to film outdoor shots without any disturbances. In the end even thought it rained today we were still able to overcome it. We were able to get a lot done even though we had an obstacle.
