Planning Blog: Location, Participants, Health, and Schedule
For our opening scene we will need a large amount of participants as our film is based off a soccer match. Soccer games usually include 11 players per team. We will need a lot of people in order to film the certain shots we plan on filming. We have decided that we will gather all these participants by asking all our friends if they would like to help us film a school project. We figured out that our filming location will be Holiday Park in Fort Lauderdale. We chose this because it is free and open to the public. Without any entrance fees this makes it more likely for us to get help where help is needed. Another reason we want to film at Holiday Park is because of its open to the public hours. Holiday Park is open from 5AM all the way to 11PM. This is very crucial as it gives us as much time as we need to film. However we have to make sure that the day we film will be sunny and bright outside. To make sure everyone is safe during filming we will make sure to bring lots of food, snack, and drinks. Safety is our number one priority and want to make sure that everyone is physically and mentally prepared and ready to film for however long we need to. We will bring Gatorade, energy bars, coffee, and all other sources of carbs, sugar, and protein. Before we do any of this we will have to set an exact filming date. In order to do this we will have to make sure that majority if not all our participants will be able to film lo n that day. We will also have to make sure that the weather is appropriate that day for filming a soccer match. We have to make sure that it will be perfect all throughout the day for filming purposes. Overall I feel as if filming would go just as smooth as it always does. If any obstacles come our way we will make sure that we overcome them and ensure an enjoying and eye pleasing opening scene.
